Les Hauts de Lynch-Moussas 2016 is a well-structured and fruit-driven wine that offers excellent value. The nose is expressive with aromas of blackcurrant, cassis, and graphite, layered with notes of exotic wood, cigar, and subtle oak nuances . On the palate, it is fruity and savoury with soft, approachable tannins and good balance . Flavours of dark fruits, cedar, and spice lead to a long, satisfying finish. This is an approachable wine with a drinking window of 2022 to 2032 .

Domaine Introduction:
Château Lynch-Moussas is a Fifth Growth (Cinquième Cru) estate in the 1855 Bordeaux Classification, located in the Pauillac appellation. The estate traces its origins to the 18th century when it was owned by the Irish Lynch family, and has been under the Castéja family since 1919 . Les Hauts de Lynch-Moussas is the estate's second wine, first produced in 2001. It is crafted primarily from the estate's younger vines and grapes that do not meet the standards for the grand vin, but is elaborated with the same care and high standards as the first wine . The 2016 vintage in Bordeaux was widely acclaimed as one of the greatest in recent history, producing wines of remarkable depth, concentration, and balance.
