Domaine de Baronarques 2017 is a powerful yet elegant wine that has received excellent critical acclaim . The nose offers dense, tightly packed black fruit, warm earth, liquorice, and sweet baking spices . On the palate, it is full-bodied with remarkable breadth, powerful yet perfectly enveloped tannins, and intense flavour concentration . Flavours of bitter chocolate, cassis, blueberry, and blackberry lead to an exceptionally long finish . The 2017 vintage demonstrates excellent balance, with the heat of the year tempered by crunchy red-fruit acidity . Aged for 12 months in French oak barrels .

Domaine Introduction:
Domaine de Baronarques is an historic estate dating back to the 17th century, located in the Limoux region of the Languedoc. In 1998, it was acquired by Baroness Philippine de Rothschild and her sons, owners of the legendary Château Mouton Rothschild . Following a comprehensive renovation of the vineyards and cellars, the domaine produces wines that apply Bordeaux expertise to the exceptional terroir of Limoux, a high-altitude appellation known for its cooler microclimate and elegant wine style . The 43-hectare vineyard is planted with a unique blend of Atlantic varieties (Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc) and Mediterranean varieties (Syrah, Malbec), creating wines of remarkable complexity .
