Domaine de Chevalier Rouge 2022 is a powerful yet refined wine. The nose offers intense aromas of blackberry, cassis, blueberry, incense, spices, and black truffle, with hints of mint and graphite . On the palate, it is medium to full-bodied with a beautifully layered structure, fine, powdery tannins, and remarkable freshness . Flavours of dark fruit, smoke, and scorched earth lead to an exceptionally long, persistent finish . While approachable with decanting, this wine has immense ageing potential and will reward cellaring for decades .

Domaine Introduction:
Domaine de Chevalier is one of Bordeaux's most prestigious estates, located in the Pessac-Léognan appellation. It is one of only six Graves estates whose red and white wines are both classified as Grand Cru Classé . Surrounded by forests, it is often called the "Secret Garden of Graves" . The estate was acquired by the Bernard family in 1983, and under Olivier Bernard's leadership, quality has reached new heights. The 2022 vintage marks Olivier's 40th harvest, celebrated with a special limited-edition label featuring a galloping horse by the renowned Chinese artist Xu Beihong (1941) . This vintage is the second year the estate's vineyards were farmed using 100% biodynamic practices .
