Le Haut-Médoc de Giscours 2016 is a well-structured and fruit-driven wine. The nose offers elegant aromas of ripe black fruits, cherry, forest floor, and sweet spice notes. On the palate, it is full-bodied with a balanced structure, dense tannins, and a long, perfumed finish. Aged for 12 months in French oak barrels (20% new, 80% one to two years old), this wine is approachable in its youth yet offers good ageing potential.

Domaine Introduction:
Château Giscours is a prestigious estate with a history dating back to 1330, and was classified as a Third Growth (Troisième Cru) in the 1855 Bordeaux Classification. The estate is located primarily in the Margaux appellation and is affectionately known as "美人鱼城堡" (Mermaid Castle) due to the golden mermaid on its label. "Le Haut-Médoc de Giscours" is the estate's third wine, produced from vineyards situated just outside the Margaux appellation within the Haut-Médoc zone. Since 1995, the estate has been under the ownership of Eric Albada Jelgersma, and under the management of Alexander van Beek, quality has risen significantly over recent vintages.
