Seña 2020 is a wine of remarkable finesse and complexity. The nose offers layers of blackcurrant, cassis, ripe dark berries, and black stone fruit, complemented by floral aromas, spicy notes of white pepper, and hints of cigar box, black olives, and graphite . On the palate, it is medium to full-bodied, with polished, fine-grained tannins and vibrant, refreshing acidity that provides balance and elegance . Flavours of juicy black fruits, balsamic spice, and a savoury, mineral streak lead to a long, persistent finish . This is a wine with outstanding ageing potential, already approachable with decanting but will continue to evolve beautifully over the next two decades.

Domaine Introduction:
Seña is one of Chile's iconic "first growth" wines, created in 1995 as a joint venture between Eduardo Chadwick, Chile's most prominent wine ambassador, and Robert Mondavi, the legendary Napa Valley pioneer . The estate is located in the Aconcagua Valley, north of Santiago, where 40 hectares of vines are farmed using biodynamic principles . The wine is a Bordeaux-style blend with a distinctly Chilean soul, thanks to the inclusion of Carménère, Chile's signature grape variety . In 2004, Seña made history at the Berlin Tasting, finishing second behind Chadwick's Viñedo Chadwick and ahead of Château Lafite Rothschild, putting Chilean fine wine on the global map . The 2020 vintage is the 26th release and is widely celebrated as one of the most elegant and refined Señas to date .
