On the palate, it delivers terrific concentration of citrus and red apple flavours, underpinned by refreshing, crisp acidity . The Watervale Riesling is handcrafted from fruit grown on elevated sites at both Smyth and St Clare vineyards, where rich red loam overlays deep limestone . The Clare Valley is one of Australia's oldest and most celebrated wine regions, particularly renowned for its world-class Riesling . The 2022 vintage was a cooler season that produced wines with intense flavour, spine-tingling acidity, and excellent ageing potential .
