Reilly's Wines is an Australian winery located in the Clare Valley, with a history tracing back to 1856 when Irish cobbler Hugh Reilly first established the property . The Barking Mad Shiraz is sourced from estate-grown, dry-grown vineyards in Watervale, planted on rich red loam over deep limestone . The wine is fermented with prolonged skin contact and matured for 18 months in 100% French oak hogsheads . The 2017 vintage received multiple awards including Gold Medals at the 2019 New Zealand International Wine Show and the New World Wine Awards .
