Domaine Pierre Boisson Bourgogne Blanc 2019 is a stunning regional Burgundy that far exceeds its appellation. The nose offers enticing aromas of white flowers, ripe peach, pear, and toasted almonds, layered with notes of hazelnut and a distinctive flinty, smoky minerality. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied, with a satiny, concentrated texture, vibrant acidity, and a rich, gourmand character. Flavours of confit citrus, stone fruit, and subtle oak spice lead to a long, mineral-driven finish. This is a beautifully crafted Chardonnay that is approachable now and will continue to develop gracefully over the next 8-10 years.

Domaine Introduction:
Domaine Pierre Boisson is a rising star based in Meursault. Pierre, son of Bernard Boisson of Domaine Boisson-Vadot, took over the family vineyards with his sister and began producing wines under his own name in 2017. The domaine spans 3.5 hectares, farmed with traditional, environmentally respectful methods. His wines have drawn comparisons to the legendary Coche-Dury, sharing a similar toasty, flinty character, yet possessing their own remarkable purity and elegance. The 2019 vintage was a warm year, producing rich, concentrated whites.
