Description

Domaine Introduction:
Domaine Moine-Hudelot was a highly regarded estate based in the heart of Chambolle-Musigny, run by Daniel Moine, a man who was both a serious vigneron and the long-time mayor of the village. He inherited exceptional vineyard holdings from his family, including parcels in grand crus such as Musigny and Bonnes-Mares, as well as premier crus like Les Amoureuses and Les Charmes . The domaine was known for producing wines of roundness, fragrance, and exceptional elegance, described by wine critic Clive Coates as being "at the top levels of high quality" . In 2008, with no successor interested in continuing the domaine, Daniel sold his vineyards to several prominent estates including Domaine de la Pousse d'Or and Maison Leroy, making existing bottles increasingly rare and sought-after by Burgundy enthusiasts .
