Description

Winery:
DBR Lafite (Domaines Barons de Rothschild Lafite), as one of the leading pioneers in the wine industry, actively practices environmental sustainability. The 2019 vintage of the group’s Rieussec wines features an innovative, minimalist, eco-friendly, and stylish new packaging design. This transformation reflects the brand’s renewed positioning to resonate with contemporary art and younger consumers while embodying the principle of sustainable development.

Respecting the environment and preserving natural ecological resources, the new design follows sustainability principles from vineyard to bottle — including the wine itself, the bottle, and even the cork. All components (such as the cork and twine) are locally sourced whenever possible to enable reuse and reduce waste.

Château Rieussec (also known as Château de Rieussec) is located in the Sauternes appellation of Bordeaux, France, and is renowned for its rich, luscious botrytized sweet white wines. In the 1855 Sauternes and Barsac classification, Château Rieussec was ranked as a Premier Grand Cru Classé (First Growth), standing among the top estates that form the pinnacle of the Sauternes hierarchy.
